Let us look after you in the Wellbeing Zone

What can I look forward to?

The Wellbeing Zone is packed with everything you need to feel fantastic. You'll be able to take some time out in the relax and recharge room, get moving in a Moroccan dance class, get your creative juices flowing in our craft corner, relieve some tension with a massage and learn something new with talks on the menopause, lip reading classes, and a workshop to help you always have a good day at work.

There will be a mix of areas you can 'drop in to' and some activities you'll need to book in advance. You'll find info below on those classes to book (do this early to avoid disappointment):

Understanding the Menopause 11am - 12pm  Beech, 1st floor, Wilson D

Friday 18th October is also World Menopause Day - so join us to learn more about the menopause and how best to handle the effects at work. Please book at:

Relax and recharge zone 11am - 3pm  Larch, 1st floor, Wilson D Drop into the Relax and Recharge Zone anytime from 11am - there’ll be books, board games and plenty of comfy places to chill out.
Crafty corner  11am - 3pm Rowan, 1st floor, Wilson D Open from 11am, come and learn some new skills with our resident crafters. You'll also be able to take part in the 10-minute craft challenge, for a chance to win a prize!
Menopause awareness  11am - 3pm The Treehouse, 1st floor, Wilson D Speak to the team behind the World Menopause Day activities for information about the forthcoming Menopause Café and pick up some helpful resources.
Your Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) benefits 11am - 3pm  The Treehouse, 1st floor, Wilson D Stop by the Treehouse to learn more about how the OU looks after your wellbeing and the support, discounts and services available to you as a member of staff.
