To celebrate 50 years of learning with The Open University, we asked our academic experts to predict how education could be transformed over the next 50 years.
In The Open University ‘Future of Learning 2070’ report, experts predict that artificial intelligence, full sensory virtual reality experiences and brain-to-brain learning could be commonplace for the students of tomorrow. If technological advances continue, brain-to-brain learning could allow information, such as how to play an instrument or speak a new language, to be easily passed from person to person.
